James Talarico is a strong Christian. He does not run from the New Testament Gospels as the so-called Christian nationalists do. See this one minute video where he sums up his love orientation. He is amazing for his consistency, standing up to Texas rightwing extremism for the last seven years.

James Talarico is the good leadership we don’t currently have

Refreshingly, Talarico has made it clear that he is not taking orders or instructions from the Democratic national party as he runs to be a Texas Senator. He has stated that there is a lot to learn from Texas democrats. “Texas needs what James Talarico is selling — and so does America“, says Heather Digby Parton of Salon independent news.

If the USA is to persevere as a functioning representative democracy, it will be on the strength of people like Talarico. We need this man’s service, and a big number of others like him, to do the work repairing, restricting, and repurposing our resources.

This is a rare commodity among politicians, a true Christian able to respect the separation of church and state, working and delivering for his constituents. No sex cabal for this guy. Of course, the GOP says he is “just another woke idiot we will take down”. He is running against GOP Senator John Cornyn.
